About this product
Decking lives outdoors in full sun and monsoon rain, so species selection matters more here than anywhere else in the range. Chengal is the benchmark for natural durability in Malaysia, with Balau and Kekatong close behind. Merbau is used where a more uniform colour is wanted.
Boards are supplied grooved or smooth face. Grooving helps water clear and gives grip underfoot; a smooth face reads cleaner on a covered terrace. Thickness is 19 or 22 mm depending on your joist spacing.
